Website Accessibility Upgrades

Summary

Canberra Community Law is a community legal centre that specialises in providing legal services to people on low incomes or facing other disadvantages.

Canberra Community Law approached Giraffe for a full website accessibility upgrade. These accessibility upgrades include darker and more accessible colours, larger social media icons, design improvements and a safety “Quick exit” button.

Giraffe equipped the website with additional accessibility functionality such as a text-to-speech option which will read text aloud, an accessibility tool so users can change text size and view the website in High Contrast, Negative Contrast, Grayscale, and White Background modes and a Dyslexie tool to toggle on a custom font that has been specifically designed to help users with dyslexia more easily read the content of this site.
